From Founder to Resident: Ms. Jan Chang’s Choice is Everspring’s Most Genuine Promise

At Everspring, we’re often asked the same question:
"This place is so nice—would you live here yourself?"

Our answer has never been just “yes.” It is:She already lives here.

Ms. Chang, the founder of Everspring, is not only the visionary and steward behind the community — she is also one of its very first residents. Her decision wasn’t symbolic, but deeply intentional: she entrusted her own future to the very home she thoughtfully built from the ground up.

Ms. Chang has devoted her life to caring for her family and serving her community — from leaving home as a teenager, to founding the Sunshine Senior Activity Center in Texas, and ultimately designing Everspring with her own hands. She has faced countless challenges, all with one purpose: to create a place where Chinese elders can age with comfort and peace of mind. And now, she chooses to begin the next chapter of her life alongside them.

In her heart, Everspring is not just an apartment that offers meals and care — it is a true home that preserves culture and fosters connection. Here, she finds her native language, the comfort of familiar dishes, old friends from the community, and a trusted care team she personally chose.

She often says:

"If I wouldn’t live here myself, how could I say it’s a place elders can truly trust?"

We firmly believe that the strongest promise isn’t found in marketing words — it’s found in real choices. And through her own actions, Ms. Jan Chang has made that promise clear to everyone —Everspring is not just the home she built for others — it's the home she chose for herself.

Here at Everspring, we invite you to do more than just visit a senior community — we welcome you to step into a journey built on love and purpose. Join us, and experience a retirement lifestyle truly created for Chinese elders.
